Day to night ...

Day to night ...

Today I am bringing you a holiday inspired post about how to create day to night outfits.
It is the time of year to attend many Christmas or year's end parties and sometimes it is difficult to find the time to go home and change clothes.
In the mood board above I used a golden skirt and  a beautiful gold bar necklace as the basis. For the day, I recommend to wear them with an interesting assymetric knit and ankle boots. For the night, I'd only change the top and shoes for classic black pieces and add some further jewellery like this beautiful ring and earrings also made by  AUrate. And the best thing about these jewellery is that by your purchase you also give a book to a child in need.

So here are my tips:

1., Bring a big shopper for the day. You can hide your clutch or mini bag in it for the night.

2., Shiny black high heels make any look a night look.

3., Statement jewellery can make any classic LBD or black skirt-white blouse look a night look.

4., Add an extravagant silk scarf.

5., Learn a classic night hair-do like the Evita bun or add eye-catching hair accessories.

How about you? What are your day-to-night-transition tips?

Comments are highly appreciated.
