How to de-stress?

1., Do yoga:
Doing yoga lowers your blood pressure and does not let you think of anything else but performing that given position. This way you forget about your problems and your stress level goes lower.

2., Take a long bubble bath:
It might sound a cliché but believe me, it works. Use some aromatherapic oils like levandel oil to increase the effect.

3., Spend time with animals:
They will make you laugh and you can be affectionate with them.

4., Go for a long walk in nature:
Doing any kind of sports helps you reducing your stress level. If you are out walking, you will not only work out but also see flowers, animals and can breathe fresh air and all these things together add up to be less stressed out.

5., Meet your loved ones:
If you can discuss the reson of your stress with someone you love, you will immediately feel better. Pouring your heart out will always help.

These tips won't solve your problems but you get a fresh view and lower stress level which might help you think of new solution possibilities.

Fav Blog Posts Lately ...

Today I am starting a new series about blog posts I have read lately and loved. I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I do and that you find them useful.

Fashion:

I really like fashion blog posts that give you tips about what to wear in a given season. Lately I have found this post really helpful to know what to wear this fall.

Beauty:
Do you ever have the feeling that your parfume does not last long enough?
Here are some tips, how to make it last longer.

Lifestyle:

Are you the one to leave the office first or are you the one to leave last? If you rather belong to the second group, you should read this post here. I know that it sometimes depends on thing out of your control but be honest: Is it always out of your control?

Interior:

One of my new year's resolutions was fixing the batrooms in my house this year. Well, by now I can see that I can be happy  if I finish  one of them. For this reason, I am totally into posts  about bathrooms. Here is my current fav post about bathrooms.

Travel:
Mykonos has been on my bucket list for a long, long time. These photos will make you want to travel to Mykonos as well.

Hope you like them.

Tested ...Nivea & Jimjams

For today, I brought you two beauty products, tested lately:

Jimjams' Black Soap and Nivea's BB cream

Jimjams Black Soap  is a Facial Cleanser with ichtyol and levander oil. To tell you the truth, I started using it after a visit by my beautician, so the poduct had a big advantage.

However, I do not think that this is the only reason why I love it.

This product cleanses deep and is able to remove all your make-up.

I use it in the evening and in my case it is enough. Maybe for those with oilier skin morning-evening use is essential.

I always liked body care products by Nivea that is why I always give their facial products a try.

However, I am usually not amazed by the end result.

The first time I applied it, I was surprised how difficult it was to put it on and to dispel.

I did not use a primer, setting powder or setting spray so the second disappontment was that it started to fade away very quickly. It lasted only a few hours and started to fade away.

As of regards to coverage, I would say it is light, it evens the skin tone but does not conceal problems zones very much. However, it gives a natural and "no makeup" look.

All in all, if you need a BB creme that does not need to last long or give good coverage, it might be something for you. Otherwise, look for another product.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my post.

It is highly appreciated.

Cheese

For today I brought you a really easy "recipe" for a snack that is perfect for a fall night with some tasty rose wine and toast.

It is also a perfect small gift for a gourmet friend or family member.

What you need:

hard or semi-hard cheese (possibly goat's cheese)
garlic
dried tomatoes
capers
neutral flavour  vegetable oil
peppper
rosemary
jar

The amount of ingredients depends on the size of your jar.

You need to cut the cheese into cubes. Put the cheese, garlic, dried tomatoes, capers, pepper and rosemary into the jar. Pour the vegetable oil on it.

Voila!

Let it mature for at least one week in the fridge.

If it is meant to be a gift, use  some burlap and raffia as decoration.

Enjoy!

Apple Jam

What you need:

2 kg of apples
220 g sugar
1 lemon

How to make it?

Peel and cut the apples into small cubes. To prevent the apples from getting brown, put them in cold water.
When finished with peeling and cutting, pour the water off. Put the apples into a cooking pot, add sugar and squeeze half of the lemon to the apples and sugar. Start cooking them on low heat.
After about 20 minutes add the juice of the other half of the lemon and cook it for another 20 minutes. Stir the jam from time to time.
When finished, pour it into washed and sterilized jars.
Store the jars in a cool, non-hunid place protected from direct sunlight.
As there are no preservatives added, eat the jam in maximally 2-3 months.

Enjoy!
