Giving Birth

First of all, sorry for not writing this post earlier. The main reason why I was hesiant to publish my birth story was that giving birth was not an elevating experience for me.
Many women say that this expeience was one of the most beautiful ones in their lives but, unfortunatly, I cannot relate.

As my pregnancy was quite easy with no morning sickness or other problems, I hoped that giving birth would also be "easy" for me. Of course , I knew that I will feel pain but did not know what to expect.

Firt of all, I gave birth 10 days after my due date. In the first 7 days after my due date I wasn't really worried or afraid. I did my househld chores, worked in the garden, etc. But after 7 days my doctor decided that I had to go to hospital to do some tests and I had to stay "for safety's sake".

Well, I hated it. There were several ladies who I knew from my preggo yoga class whose due dates were 2-3 weeks later but came in and gave birth in a few hours. I felt envious (and thought I was a really bad person).

But after 2 days in hospital, I started to feel labour pain. I knew they were labour pain but as they did not come as regularly as in the "Big Book Of Childbirth", the doctors said that they were only predictive cramps. It went on for 22 hours like that but after 22  hours (no sleep) I went to one of the maternity nurses on due  and told her that I was sure that I would give birth soon and would not return to my room without a baby. Quite harsh, I know. :)

All in all, those 32 hours were really difficult and sometimes I felt like a failure that I cannot even present regular camps but when I saw my son for the first time I experienced such peace, grace and joy I had never experienced before.

I hope that my story will not scare you, ladies before your due dates. I hope it will help you to know that in the end everything will be ok and you will be as happy as never before.

Thanks for reading.

Florida

As temperatures are getting higher, I always start dreaming of a place I can spend the most beautiful days of the year. Since my balcony is of the worst siting ever, I rather only dream of a dream place rather than creating it. But, heyy.... A girl can dream. :) (And my husband wants to build a new house, so hope is still there :))

I was recently inspired by Douglas Elliman and their Florida page to create my dream Florida room. The challenge was to create a Florida room from my perspective.

So here is my mood board for my dream Florida room:

Florida

And now here are some tips for decorating your Florida room (or any other room) in your house:

-Natural materials.
They are classy and never go out of style.

- Tropical prints.
As they are quite "strong" patterns, be careful with them.

-Choose comfy seats.
Who wants to spend their precious free time in uncomfy circumstances.

- Do not choose "sensitive" flowers/plants.
Cactii are the bestchoice as they do not need much care and do not need much pampering.

If you live in the South, you probably have a Florida room and already have your own ideas how to furnish/design it. Please, share your thoughts.

Tested: Garnier Skin Active Hydra Bomb

For today I brought you my opinion about Garnier's skin active hydra bomb day cream, night cream and water cream moisturizer. I got these products from my sister and I was really happy that I could use them together.

The night cream and the water cream moisturizer come in gel form, while the day cream comes in a creamy form. The odour is really smooth and nice in all cases, not too intensive so even if you do not like pommagranate, the odour will not be disturbing.

I like both the gel and the cream form, non of them leaves my skin greasy and they are absorbed really quickly. Therefore I also recommend the day cream under your make-up.

My skin is not too dry so I do not need that much of moistrizing in the night. However, I think for someone with dry skin this product might not be enough for their evening routine.

I would recommend the water cream moisturizer for someone with dehydrated skin. I do not use it every day, rather on days when I feel I need some extra hydration. As for the effect, I always feel immediately that my skin is more hydrated and the effect lasts quite long.

All in all, I like these products but my sister who has really sensitive eyes cannot us them because she starts weeping when putting them on her face.

How about you? Have you ever tried any of these products? What are your experiences?

Thans for stopping by.

Tested: Neutrogena® Hydro Boost Micellar Water

For today I brought you a product review again. This time I tested Neutrogena's Hydro Boost Micellar Water.Image result for Neutrogena Hydro Boost Micellar Water.

Some of you might remember my post aboutNeutrogena's Hydro Boost Cleansing Wipes here.
In that post I boasted the cleansing wipes for their effectiveness in make-up removal.

Interestingly enough, the micellar water wasn't as effective in terms of make-up removal as the cleansing wipes. In case of  facial make-up I did not experience any difficulties but in case of eye make-up, the micellar water is not as effective as the wipes.

The other positive thing about the wipes were that they left my skin really hydrated. And while this micellar wtaer is definitely more hydrating than other micellar waters I used earlier, here, I would definitely recommend moisturising post use, while I think with the cleansing wipes you might skip it if you are too tired. :)

I hope you find my review helpful.
